IllinoisGRMHD (IGM) is an optimized open-source developed by Zachary Etienne (WVU). Currently, IllinoisGRMHD is capable of state-of-the-art modeling of magnetized binary neutron star (BNS) inspiral and mergers with realistic (piecewise polytrope and tabulated) equations of state. While IGM is extremely efficient in evolving magnetized plasma flows, like all other current NR GRMHD codes, it is based on a Cartesian adaptive-mesh refinement  (AMR) infrastructure.
